After-hours coverage is not just about having someone available IF something happens. It is about giving the onsite team a clear handoff before the office opens.
-Were the right areas checked?
-Were issues documented clearly?
-Did the report show what needs attention?
-Is the setup built around routine checks, reactive response, or both?
None of this needs to be complicated. But it does need to be consistent.
When the onsite team walks in, they should not have to spend the first hour
investigating what happened overnight.
Does your current after-hours setup give your team a clear morning handoff, or are they
still piecing things together after the office opens?
